Hello lovelies! Happy Monday and I hope you had a great weekend. I just wanted to share a little life update as I move back to London for uni and work.
I got a new job! I’ve recently started working as a waitress at a café and wine bar in Mayfair and I really like it. It gets quite stressful and busy but the people I work with are so lovely. I love having money to not worry about buying a few clothes or going out for coffee while still being able to save for after uni.
I am pretty busy with working 2 full days a week and doing my degree but I really hope that I can continue to blog the same amount. It will be a good test of how well I can manage my time and be strict with what I need to get done. I start at 7am which at first was AWFUL but now I’ve got used to it I actually now love that I naturally wake up so early on days that I’m not working.
I’m just starting my 4th and final year of my degree and I am SO excited to finish! I was very envious of all my friends graduating over summer! I’ve basically decided that I don’t want to go into a job directly related to my degree so my big goal is to get a 2:1 so that I can do a postgrad. My current plan is to do a 1 year postgrad in digital marketing once I finish.
As I’m writing this, I’ve just got back from a blogger event. I met so many lovely people and it is crazy how many people just like me make a full time income from blogging??! The last few months, I’ve loved taking my blog much more seriously and I hope I can continue to do this and grow it. I hope to go to many more blogger events and connect with more people.
I have lots of exciting things planned so make sure you sign up to my monthly email newsletter (you can sign up by email on the right of this post) to stay up to date.
I think I’m going to do a full post on a gut health update to share all the things I’ve been trying and what’s working. But a quick update- everything is bad! I haven’t been able to properly reintroduce any fodmap foods and eating a bit too freely over summer has left my gut very unhappy. Lots of probiotics, Buscopan and peppermint tea!
