
I created this recipe as an energy ball or keto fat bomb. Having a nut allergy, most recipes out there I can’t eat and whilst trying the ketogenic diet, I couldn’t use things like dates to hold them together. This was also a key way for me to get my sweet treat after dinner without upping my carbs with sugar whilst doing keto. This recipe is low FODMAP, gluten free, vegan and keto friendly.
Ingredients:
100g desiccated coconut
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
1tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp cocoa powder
1tsp chia seeds
1tsp linseed
Method
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or high powered blender.
Mould into approximately 6 balls using your hands.
Cool in the fridge for an hour or two. Will last in here for about a week.
