Transitional Makeup

Spring is here and summer is well and truly on it’s way! I tend to wear less makeup going into summer not only because it can feel heavy in the heat but also because I feel like I need it less as I start to get a slight tan. I like to look glowy and fresh so here are the current products I am using going into the new season.

The Benefit that gal primer really helps brighten and makes my skin glow. It feels so light on the skin and has a beautiful pearly appearance. As a base, I love CC creams going into summer. This one from L’oreal perfectly corrects any redness and adds a bit of extra colour while still being beautifully light. For highlighter I am still obsessed with my Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in the shade opal. It adds the most stunning shimmer and glow and the colour is definitely one I can carry through from winter to summer.

On my eyes I have been loving this mini Clinique pallette. It has stunning, shimmery colours in really wearable and natural shades and the size is so perfect for putting in your handbag or travelling. No prizes for guessing my mascara; Benefit Rollerlash of course! This has been my favourite mascara for a god couple of years and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It gives my lashes length, volume and shape while still looking quite natural. For brows I am still loving the Benefit Ka-brow. It holds my hairs in place, fills them with colour and is so buildable.

For lips it’s been back to a classic for me. Mac Mehr is such a wearable and flattering pinky nude. It s matte but not drying and the colour lasts really well. Recently I have been wearing a lip gloss on top of that to add to the glowing look. This one is the Benefit Dandelion (can you tell what my favourite brand is?). It’s a slightly pinky colour that looks super shiny without being sticky.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you’ve enjoyed. Of course I would love to know what products you’re loving at this time of year.

Hope you’ve had a good week
